PSA poster project.
PSA on
NO.1:
save the garment district.
mainly, that affordable spaces for fabric merchants, suppliers and fashion brands are "disappearing" (so to speak) and that the fashion community needs to step up and do something.
so.....their idea is to start a campaign with tee shirts printed with "SAVE THE GARMENT CENTER" to be distributed on designers' web sites or at their runway shows.
and I think from here I can do a poster of PSA on (not the t-shirt) having people's awareness on saving the garment district.
official website:
Save the Garment Distict
-----------------------------------------------------
NO.2
When I was riding the subway home the other day, a subway ad "SUBTALK " (power by the new york city subway) caught my eyes.
it reads
"In 1986, the subway and bus fare was $1. Thats $1.89 in 2008 dollars. Today, 30-day unlimited ride metro card brings the ease down to $1.17. Believe it.
it sure brought the instant interest to me....since being a poor student and always cutting corners to buy that next it designer item.....haha. j/k
but , yeah, I would wanna do something that's to do with things about the subway system that people dont really know....and make the design better than what we have out.
